North Franklin Theatre Group Musical Hillbilly Comedy

The North Franklin Theatre Group will be ending its 2019 season with the musical comedy “Hankerin’ Hillbillies” by Pat Cook, directed by Steve Perry & Matt Maneely. Up in the hills, it seems all the girls want to get hitched, but the Hereford girls have a bad case of ’The Hankerin,’ as Pa calls it. When the guv’mint men come to the holler looking for land to buy, they stir up a long time feud between the Herefords and the Guernseys while attracting the attention of the husband-hunting daughters. When the feared “Black Widder” gets involved and the daffy Bickle sisters start to stir up trouble, it turns into an all-out brawl!
The cast includes Steve Perry as Pa Hereford, Brenda Demers as Ma Hereford, The Hereford daughters are played by Josie Faubert, Mikayla Foster, Amelia Koon, Katelynn McElwain, and Laura Raville, Anne Raville and Audra Buchanan as the Bickle Sisters, Matt Maneely as Uncle Cyrus, Lorraine Gravel as Dandelion Blatch, Jacob Koon as Marcus Slidell, Audrey Francoeur as Saralee Poke, Kearstiin Smith as The Black Widder, Marcy Bonesteel as Maisey, The Guv’mint men played by Dan Taylor and Rico Leon Roque, Ron Noreault as Zeke Guernsey and Laura Rabideau as Chief Slattery
Four evening performances will be held at NFTG’s Red Barn Playhouse November 8th, 9th, 15th and 16th at 7:00 pm and there will be two matinee performances on Sunday, November 10th and our final performance November 17th at 2:00 pm. Veterans will be admitted free to the November 10th performance in honor of Veterans Day. .This is a MUST SEE Show!
