Schools here in the North Country, along with schools statewide, are finalizing details to get students back in classrooms soon and safely. The Brushton-Moira Central School District is now talking about hiring a second registered nurse whose primary responsibility would be dealing with cases of COVID-19 among the school population. It is also seen as a sort of insurance policy that would head off another school closure in the event that the only other school nurse became exposed to coronavirus… which could shut down the entire school system.
